9. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
In trying to secure the presence of lights for future years Cllr Cable informed the meeting that the type of lamps presently being used are being phased out. Lower voltage LED light would be preferable. A secure, weather tight control box is needed to meet safety conditions. Not yet confirmed but it is thought the Church Council are agreeable to a new Christmas tree being planted. One will need to be sourced. It is thought the expense this year would be £20 -£30 for the box and £50 for new lamps. Needs thinking about and should be put on May AGENDA.
Cllr Cobb left the meeting.
10. PLANNING MATTERS
When approving the last planning application BDC quoted certain policies that it complied with but made no mention of the Parish Plan.
