Land Rear of Dovedale, Dunham Road,

Change of Use of Grazing Land to Show Site for Sheds and Garden Buildings

The plans received were inspected and discussed.  A vote was taken which resulted as follows – 1 for, 1 abstained and 4 against.  The council gave the following reasons for not being in favour of the application.

a)      There was concern that the entrance off the busy C2 road could be dangerous for motorists, being just round a bend from the Stokeham direction.

b)      This area has been subject to flooding in the past.

c)      The site would be outside the village envelope for development.

d)      It was considered to be an unsuitable development for the rural location.

There was no further business and the meeting closed at  7.15 p.m.
