LANEHAM PARISH COUNCIL Minutes of the Parish Council meeting held at 7.00
p.m. on Monday, 30th June, 2003 in the Village Hall
PRESENT:
Chairman Councillor Mrs. R. Whate, Councillors Mrs B. Barber, Mrs. A. Clark, P.
Beresford, F. Clark, J. Cobb and L. Sinclair and 3 members of the public. 1.

DECLARATION OF PERSONAL AND
PREJUDICIAL INTERESTS
None, other than Cllr. Mrs. Barber who stated she had an interest as a resident of Church Laneham where one of the Planning Applications was for.3. PLANNING APPLICATION – Trentfield Farm, Erect Agricultural BuildingsThe plans were available for inspection. Discussion took place regarding the proposed development, but as a lot of the information provided seems to be incorrect, a lot of questions need to be answered before the council could make a decision. Mr. J. Hardman was not present to provide any information. It was therefore proposed by Cllr. F. Clark and seconded by Cllr. L. Sinclair that the decision was deferred pending more information becoming available. This was unanimously agreed, and a letter drafted to BDC outlining the council’s concerns and requesting an extension to submitting the council’s comments.4.
PLANNING
APPLICATION – Dovedale, Erect Stable Block
The plans were inspected and discussed. The Council made the following observations – the plans stated 3 loose boxes and a corner unit, but the drawings only show 2 loose boxes and a corner unit. The building appears to be outside the village envelope. This field has been known to flood. The council assumes BDC have checked the regulations regarding the proximity of manure storage to local housing. The councillors supported the application but BDC to be advised of the above comments. 5. ANY OTHER URGENT BUSINESS a)
Police
Mobile Unit – will
visit the village on 14th July.
Chairman to ascertain where the vehicle will park before displaying the
notice. b)
Other matters were considered non-urgent and will be discussed at the
next meeting on 14th July.
There was no further business and the meeting closed
at approximately 7.47 p.m.
